From the Earth Observation department at ICHEC, we are interested to provide our wide experience in both public and private sector to a project interested in the use of satellite imagery and its analysis as an added value to a project.
We have previous experience working in projects such Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funded Macroman project monitorizing Seaweed bloom. In addtion we have been involved and leading other projects with OPW monitorizing early flooding in Ireland and European Spatial Agency(ESA) funded AIREO (Artificail Intelligence Ready for Earth Observation) making different EO datasets (like Forest Observation System Biomass, Common Agriculture Practice dataset).
We would be happy to partner in a tender where SOC sequestration or Soil biodiversity are main subjects.
The Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC) is Ireland's national centre for High-Performance Computing (HPC) providing access to e-infrastructure, services and expertise to academia, industry and public sector.
ICHEC enables the application of HPC for developing efficient services and solutions based on technologies such as artificial intelligence, high performance data analytics, Earth Observation, cybersecurity and quantum computing across a number of sectors including environmental sciences, heathcare, agriculture, financial services and ICT.
By operating Kay (Ireland's national supercomputer) and the National Quantum Learning Platform, ICHEC enables researchers and enterprises to bring new solutions to complex social, economical and environmental challenges.
ICHEC also works in partnership with industry and public authorities in joint R&D activities, skills development as well as HPC and data managmement service provisioning to accelerate and de-risk their digital transition and green transition.
Additionally, ICHEC is also the the National HPC Competence Centre in Ireland under the EuroHPC Competence Centre (EuroCC) initiative.
