We are interested in participating in a consortium for the EJP SOIL, Topic A, B or C. Our expertise includes: • Environmental biotechnology: soil bioremediation by using fungi, bacteria and/or consortia; • Bioremediation of contaminated agricultural soils • Nanotechnology by biosynthesis of metal nanoparticles; use of nanoparticles as antimicrobial agent against fungal and bacterial pathogens of agricultural systems; microbiological impact on the environment •Smart and IoT solutions for sustainable agriculture • Agroecology and ecosystem services • Role of C:N:P in smart and sustainable agriculture in volcanic soils • Organic nitrogen sequestration in temperate rainforest soils • Management of rhizosphere microbiota to enhance plant production under drought stress
Our university has participated in various EU projects (H2020) and counts with the required knowledge to promote Chilean/LATAM/European collaboration. We are open to jointly develop a proposal and contribute with various actors from our LATAM and international network.
