Soil restoration
We have interest to collaborate in projects that aim to elucidate underlying mechanisms involved in the formation of mineral-associated organic matter (MAOM) and particulate organic matter (POM), specially from an organic material input quality perspective.
NORSØK is a research institute founded in 1986, conducting research and developmental work required to support organic agriculture. NORSØK is a non-profit foundation and owns a research farm, which is managed with organic dairy cows and where data are recorded about farm performance. The farm also hosts a biogas plant and an exhibition centre. Field experiments are often located here. We also cooperate closely with other Norwegian and foreign research institutes, universities and other organisations as well as industry, to conduct projects relevant for more and better organic farming, and more sustainable agricultural production in general.
