The research group of the Universidad del Valle requires to form its consortium:
research groups with experience in data science with an emphasis on data processing of agroecological information.
We are looking for partners interested in working with us in the area of new technologies for measuring variables related to soil quality.
Our strength is related to the handling of emerging communication technologies, implementation of smart sensors based on IoT systems and industry 4.0.
Our development is focused on the implementation of an intelligent greenhouse based on industry 4.0, which serves as a space for research and development, whose contribution is related to the transfer that can be made in agricultural processes in the field at low cost.

Universidad del Valle - Colombia- is an autonomous state institution, with a special regime, legal personality, academic, administrative and financial autonomy, and independent assets. It was created by the Departmental Assembly of Valle del Cauca through Ordinance No. 012 of 1945, modified by Ordinance No. 010 of 1954 of the Administrative Council of Valle del Cauca; It is attached to the Government of Valle del Cauca and, as far as educational policies and planning are concerned, it is linked to the Ministry of National Education. The University is governed by the State regulations relating to higher education and by the agreements, resolutions and administrative acts of the competent bodies and authorities.

Our research group GiiDEA has as a research line the Electronics applied to agriculture and the environment, for which we have developed works such as: greenhouses and agriculture 4.0, intelligent aquaponic farm, innovation and technological development in food bank among others.
